Community Service Volunteer opportunities
At Westside students are given the opportunity to serve. SMT has developed relationships with many organizations in our neighborhood and the surrounding areas of Tigard. Please see the list below to sign up for the next opportunity.
BROOKSIDE MEMORY CARE SERVICE
On Friday, 3/15 right after early release, we will be serving the elderly at Brookside Memory care! Sign up here for a great time of connection with the past generation and good 'ol’ humble service.
FOUNDATIONS FLEX GROUP
During Flex, we host a Foundations group for anyone who wants to join in a conversation about faith! Whether you’re curious about what faith means, are just beginning in your journey, or are looking to deepen and enrich your walk, just get a pass from your Flex teacher and then come to the front office who will point you to our room! We’d love to talk and pray with you.
STUDENT-LED BIBLE STUDY
Most Thursday mornings at 7:50 am in Mr. Lindsley’s room, the Narrow Path Hikers (a student-led group) hosts Bible studies! We will be worshipping with Sarah Fisher this Thursday (see “Worship and Prayer Morning”), but join us next week for fellowship, the Word, and prayer!

Do you need prayer? Fill out this anonymous form OR write it on a piece of paper and place it in the Prayer Request Box by the printing computers in the library. We’re praying for you!
FEBRUARY FOR FRIENDS IN NEED
The Olympia Mission Trip needs your old clothes!!! Donations end at the end of next week (March 1), so be sure to bring in your old clothes to the box by the front desk ASAP! Our students will be going to the streets of Olympia and directly serving the needy with every donated article of clothing.
